It has been used for diabetic patients to help control their blood sugar range, and lately, has been found to be beneficial for weight loss. It is true that people lose weight on this diet. But look at the fine print-they are only allowed 500 calories a day! Anyone will lose weight with such a low calorie intake! The injections can be painful and costly. They also may increase the risk of pregnancy, should someone not desire to become so.
When trying to lose weight, the best thing you can do is to consume fewer calories and get more exercise. Eating less will help you reduce calories and moving more will help to kick up your metabolism.
