Tech Support: Beginners Guide To WordPress Hosting

I got this tweet the other day talking to an artist on Twitter. Mind you I’m networking with someone who might buy beats from me and who I can continue to make music with. All the sudden this gets sent to both of us – completely driving a wedge between our conversation. This has happened to me time and time again and I finally decided to tweet back. All the response said was “Sorry just promo”.

This helps tremendously – no one is going to take you seriously if you don’t have a home site. I suggest a Cynthia Telles because that’s what I use. Once its all set up its easy to add content and update it as often as you’d like. Remember people want to be able to go to your site and know your legit about what you do. Most people who spam me don’t even do this!

Purchase your domain name. If you already have a domain name with a different hosting company than the one you chose for your blog, you will need to have your domain name transferred to your new host. Your Hosting customer service should be able to walk you through that step if you are unsure how to proceed. If you do not yet have a domain name, you should be able to purchase one through the same Hosting company with which you will host your blog or website. This is by far the easier and best solution.

Remove unnecessary content or comments that fail to add value. This keeps the site more user-friend to visitors. Akismet is a great plugin to filter daily website spam.Sometimes you may spend a lot of time adjusting your WordPress blog and then mistakenly think none of your changes you’ve made weren’t saved. This is most likely is not the case. Clear your cache to get rid of this problem. Your changes will appear by simply depress the “shift” key while you refresh the browser simultaneously.

Another way to have your monetize your blog is with advertising. You can register to add a block of Google Ads to your site. The site will walk you through the process. Your blog makes money per click, which means each time someone clicks on one of the ads you make a few cents, however that can add up!

WordPress templates allow your wordpress layout to be different from every other site. Templates can be downloaded free. You’ll need to have some basic knowledge of FTP to upload these templates. Once the templates have been uploaded, installing them is simply a matter of point and click. Its common to install a variety of templates and finding one that suits your theme.

The message here is don’t give up if this is what you truly want to do, if it were that easy, everybody would be doing it.Having said that, it is not that hard once you learn the ropes, remember its all a numbers game in the end. Keep putting up new sites, rinse and repeat the process and you will see over time how well you can truly succeed in this business called internet marketing.
